  • Purpose: Origin is a proprietary computer program for interactive scientific graphing and data analysis. It supports various 2D/3D plot types and includes data analyses such as statistics, signal processing, curve fitting, and peak analysis. ​

Licensing

Each license allows installation of Origin 2025 on one university-owned computer. The Annual Subscription for the provided license ends on April 7, 2026.​

Deprovisioning

Upon reaching the End-of-Life Date or when the software is no longer needed, please contact CENV IT for proper deactivation and removal procedures.​

Installation

  1. Download the Origin 2025 installer using the link provided in your license confirmation email.​

  2. Close any running instances of Origin.​

  3. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.​

  4. During installation, enter the provided Serial Number: GF3S4-6078-7281451.​

  5. After installation, launch Origin 2025. The license dialog will prompt you to enter the Product Key: EC27DAA0FE17624F.​

  6. Complete the activation process as directed.​

Patching

Regularly check for updates to ensure the software remains secure and functional. To apply updates:​

  1. Open Origin 2025.​

  2. Navigate to the Help menu and select 'Check for Updates'.​

  3. If updates are available, follow the prompts to download and install them.​
