Purpose: Origin is a proprietary computer program for interactive scientific graphing and data analysis. It supports various 2D/3D plot types and includes data analyses such as statistics, signal processing, curve fitting, and peak analysis.

Software Management
This section provides instructions and information about how we manage this software in the College of the Environment.
Licensing
Each license allows installation of Origin 2025 on one university-owned computer. The Annual Subscription for the provided license ends on April 7, 2026.
Deprovisioning
Upon reaching the End-of-Life Date or when the software is no longer needed, please contact CENV IT for proper deactivation and removal procedures.
Installation
Download the Origin 2025 installer using the link provided in your license confirmation email.
Close any running instances of Origin.
Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
During installation, enter the provided Serial Number: GF3S4-6078-7281451.
After installation, launch Origin 2025. The license dialog will prompt you to enter the Product Key: EC27DAA0FE17624F.
Complete the activation process as directed.
Patching
Regularly check for updates to ensure the software remains secure and functional. To apply updates:
Open Origin 2025.
Navigate to the Help menu and select 'Check for Updates'.
If updates are available, follow the prompts to download and install them.
