Request Cable TV Service

Western subscribes to a network-based cable television streaming service called Comcast Xfinity-on-Campus (also known as “IPTV”). Watching IPTV requires a computer, SmartTV, or Roku-brand streaming device with a network connection.

Western no longer supports traditional coaxial cable TV service on campus, due to the age of the infrastructure and lack of staffing to support the service.

Instructions

To request streaming Cable TV service:

  1. Submit a Help Desk ticket or the New Cable TV Service form.

  2. Specify if the request is for an individual to access the service from multiple devices, or for a fixed location like a lobby or office.

  3. Provide a budget code for the department funding the request.
