Outlook: Turn off Conversations

By default Outlook displays your messages grouped by conversation. These instructions are for the Web App. To turn this off in the Outlook desktop application, simply uncheck the box next to "Conversations" on the Home tab of the ribbon.


First determine whether you are using the new Outlook or the old Outlook:




If you are on the new version of Outlook

Click the GEAR icon in the upper right corner and then click on View All Outlook settings at the bottom of the screen

 Click the FILTER drop-down to find the settings for conversations:
