IT Dashboard User Guide

Overview

The IT Dashboard (dashboard.wwu.edu) is a centralized platform for managing user accounts, security groups, shared mailboxes, and other IT resources at Western Washington University. This guide provides an overview of the system's features and access levels.

Access and Authentication

Login

  • Access the dashboard at dashboard.wwu.edu

  • Sign in with your WWU credentials

  • Note: The dashboard is only available locally or via VPN

Browser Support

  • Recommended: Latest versions of Chrome, Edge, or Firefox

  • JavaScript and pop-ups must be enabled

Viewing User Information

  1. Navigate to the "Users" section

  2. Search for a user by name, username, or email

  3. Click on a user to view detailed information

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Login Problems

  • Ensure you're using your full WWU email address

  • Verify your password is correct

  • Check that MFA is properly configured

Permission Denied

  • Your account may not have the required permissions

  • Contact your supervisor or IT support to request access

Page Not Loading

  • Clear your browser cache and cookies

  • Try a different browser

  • Ensure JavaScript is enabled
