We will upgrade to the latest version of haproxy on Tuesday. No user impact is expected.
Multiple network upgrades are occurring the next two weeks, and no user impact is expected for most of these upgrades. The ISE upgrade on 9/15 may briefly interrupt VPN and wireless network authentication.
Legacy Office365 licenses for students are expiring from our tenant on 9/30, so we will be programmatically removing them from users on 9/15. Any active students who have a legacy license applied also have a current license, so they will not lose access to Office365 when the change occurs. A small subset of student employees will lose access Bookings, because Bookings is not included in current student licensing.
The next upgrade to Millennium FAST is slated for late October. The test version of the application will be upgraded in SeptemberNo user-impacting changes are scheduled for the week of 9/21-
A configuration change to winbind will be implemented on select linux servers on 9/21. No user-facing impacts emerged during testing.
Attribute updates in Active Directory will be made in late October, in order to free up custom attributes for future use.
Also in late October, the production VPN (remotevpn.wwu.edu) will move to SAMLv2 authentication, which will allow us to enforce MFA on VPN connections for MFA-enabled users.
