Highlights
There are multiple network upgrades scheduled in December, including upgrades to the wireless controllers, authentication and policy servers, and firewall/intrusion detection systems.
We will also be taking Bond Hall, Parks Hall, and Ross Engineering offline for wired and wireless network equipment replacements over the Winter Break.
Also during December, we will remove the legacy KMS server and replace it with Active Directory-based Volume License Activation.
Two configuration changes to Learning Systems settings will be made on 12/15 – a new Canvas integration, and a change to Zoom storage retention settingsParks Hall network refresh was delayed due to snow. We are tentatively scheduling Spring Break to complete the work.
PPRD Refresh is happening this weekend.
Palo Alto failover testing and upgrades will occur just as soon as we have Cisco and Palo support scheduled to be on the line at the same time.
Upcoming configuration changes to Teams Voice call routing and Windows/Office Licensing services are not anticipated to have any user impact.
