Highlights

  1. ITS is no longer automatically provisioning U Drives for new accounts. Ad-hoc provisioning for classes is still available upon request.

  2. Next week, EIS will implement a configuration across all academic building networks to block certain kinds of network switches from being connected to the network.

  3. BFS has scheduled application upgrades for Millennium FAST test and prod systems in March and April.

  4. Banner PPRD and WWIS upgrade dates have been set at 3/21 and 4/8, respectively.

  5. Parks Hall network upgrades are happening 3/22-3/28.

  6. EIS will start setting the “Password Required” flag on Admitted-but-not-confirmed student accounts the week of 3/21. Passwords are required on these accounts via other mechanisms, but setting this flag provides an additional layer of integrity to the account provisioning process.
