Highlights

1. Approximately 87,000 internal-only DNS records have been purged from our external DNS resolver, including all 10.x addresses and all addresses in the wlan.wwu.edu and bldg.wwu.edu zones.

2. Security settings have been enabled in all academic buildings to prevent the use of unauthorized network switches. Additional security settings will be applied in the next few weeks.

3. ITS is planning to phase out the Clutter service in Office365, to provide all mailbox users a consistent user experience. Dates forthcoming.

4. Remote site firewall upgrades will occur after hours on several dates between 3/30 - 4/06, with a 60 minute internet outage at each location.

5. Campus firewall upgrades will happen at 6:00am on 4/12, with no downtime expected due to our recently repaired failover systems.

6. Banner production upgrades are scheduled for 4/15 - 4/17.

7. Enhanced eligibility and purge rules for account provisioning will take effect April 19th.

8. On 4/21, EIS will make changes to our firewall rules to reduce processing load from known bogus traffic.
