Last weekend’s Banner upgrade is complete.
This morning we are making change in the way devices registered with Azure Active Directory, which may solve an authentication issue with Teams common area phones.
On Thursday, 8/4, at 6:30am, we will be adjusting our internet connection failover settings and testing failover, in an attempt to make failover happen faster when one internet provider loses serviceThe Cisco AnyConnect VPN client will be updated on Wednesday morning, 8/17. Users will be upgraded automatically the next time they log in to VPN.
The StorSimple appliance is slated to be taken offline on 8/22. All remaining network file shares are either being migrated to Sharepoint, migrated to CEPH, or purged between now and then. At 6am on 9/13, we will be moving Housing networks to a new firewall interface, which will intermittently impact connectivity to residence halls between 6am - 9am
An emergency security update to Banner will be deployed into production on Friday, 8/26 starting at 7pm. Banner will be unavailable until 5pm Saturday.
The client certificate for the wireless network will be renewed on 8/30. Some devices will update automatically. Some will lose network access, and will need to “forget” the network on their device before they can reconnect.
