Highlights

1. Updates to the password requirements for service accounts, vendor accounts, and other non-standard accounts were implemented 5/1 as previously communicated.

2. Pending confirmation from one more department, EIS will dismantle the process that creates non-mail-enabled AD groups from Banner attributes.

3. EIS will implement auto-archiving for mailboxes on litigation hold. Additional archive policies will wait until Fall terms, when we can discuss with business unit leaders across the divisionsNo upcoming changes are scheduled at this time.

4. In the coming weeks, EIS will be changing CAS from an “open” SSO portal to a service that only authorized apps can use. We are in the process of identifying all apps that currently use CAS in order to pre-authorize them before turning off open access.

5. PMO is working with stakeholders to identify a date to expand pilot access to the Employee module in Banner 9 Self-Service Web4u.
