Highlights

1. The AI/AW building complex will be without wired or wireless network services in December, while the network equipment is replaced.

2. ATUS continues to consult with Microsoft on blocking the execution of custom scripts in SharePoint. Implementation TBD.

3. Communication has begun to building occupants to start creating the network refresh schedule for next summer.

4. The wireless network client certificate will be updated in December. This will move our annual renewal cycle from Summer to Winter, which will reduce the impact on students and faculty who leave in the summer and are forced to update their clients at the start of Fall term.

5. The legacy static website service known as Campus Web will be decommissioned on or after 12/31/23. ATUS, WebTech, and distributed IT will work with site owners to migrate any sites on Campus Web that need to stay onlinelegacy Campus Web service has been shut down.

6. ATUS will begin pushing Windows 11 to all compatible Windows 10 computers in January.

7. Work continues to address bandwidth constraints with the campus’s internet connections.

8. Shannon Point will receive a network upgrade at the end of February.

9. ATUS and EIS are discussing a rollout of the new Teams client to all users before it becomes mandatory on 3/31.
