Highlights

1. Kaiser Borsari, Ridgeway Complex, and Birnam Wood Complex network upgrades are underway.

2. The Guest Wireless network has been re-enabled, with a 100Mbs rate-limit.

3. Datacenter network upgrades are 75% completed, but on pause while we investigate how to prevent an system outage for the last 25%.

4. Campus VPN software will be upgraded on Monday, 7/1. The new version will now support ARM64 clientsNetwork upgrades continue in Ridge and KB. Birnam Wood upgrades are complete, minus some final optimizations.

5. The primary internet service provider for campus is planning up to one hour of internet outage for urgent security updates on 7/15 from 12am-1am. EIS is investigating the potential impacts.

6. A partial Banner outage will occur on is planned for July 22nd for server operating system upgrades. Web4u will be up, but Admin Pages, Job Submission, Clean-Address Verification, Banner account password changes, and scheduled tasks will be offline.

7. All of Banner will be down July 27th and July 28th for application upgrades, pending successful completion of testing.

8. An upgrade to Millennium FAST is scheduled for September 25th. This is the first week of Fall Term, but BFS has confirmed the upgrade can still proceed on that date.
