The Authenticator app will may ask for your permission to access your device’s camera. It needs camera access to scan the QR code as described in Step 6 below. If you do not allow the app to access your camera, you will still be able to set up Authenticator by using the “Can’t scan image?” link, but it will require typing a long code and URL. |
