Highlights

  1. CF network upgrades are underway.

  2. EIS is investigating the impacts of deprecating legacy MFA settings in our Azure AD tenant.

  3. WWU and Whatcom County are on track to complete the integration of their police dispatch phone systems by the end of August.

  4. Software upgrades for several core network devices will occur in the month of September, including a significant campus-wide network outage the morning of Sunday, September 17th.

  5. The wireless network client certificate will be updated in December. This will move our annual renewal cycle from Summer to Winter, which will reduce the impact on students and faculty who leave in the summer and are forced to update their clients at the start of Fall term.
