Highlights

  • Routing changes for Residence Hall traffic were implemented on 2/15 to address bandwidth constraints on campus.

  • Shannon Point’s network upgrades and internet service provider change are both in progress.

  • Additional network changes that were scheduled to happen during the cluster outages are being queued and rescheduled now that we have achieved cluster stability.

  • Several emergency changes were made to the HCI cluster in response to the stability issues of the last two weeks. Some additional changes will be implemented in the coming days, including enabling more CPU cores in the cluster.

    • ITS is working with University Communications and Print and Copy Services to investigate publishing the important dates on the university’s paper calendar via Outlook.
