Highlights

  • EIS is now enforcing TLS 1.2 or higher on all HAPROXY connections. All connections require strong ciphers except for CAS (websso.wwu.edu), because T2 Parking Portal requires weaker ciphers. EIS will work the BFS to get the vendor to update their service.

  • The legacy URL “mail.wwu.edu” will redirect to an ATUS web page until 12/31/21, at which point it will be retired.

  • Multiple network software upgrades are scheduled from now through 9/15. All of them are after-hours upgrades, and none of them will have a noticeable user impact except for the ISE upgrade on 9/15. That upgrade will reset user VPN connections and make authentication to the wireless network temporarily unavailable.

    • The next upgrade to Millennium FAST is slated for late October. The test version of the application will be upgraded in September.
