Highlights

  • No user-impacting changes are scheduled for the week of 9/21-

  • A configuration change to winbind will be implemented on select linux servers on 9/21. No user-facing impacts emerged during testing.

  • Attribute updates in Active Directory will be made in late October, in order to free up custom attributes for future use.

    • Also in late October, the production VPN (remotevpn.wwu.edu) will move to SAMLv2 authentication, which will allow us to enforce MFA on VPN connections for MFA-enabled users
