Highlights

  1. Banner production will be upgraded on 7/30-31. Time permitting, the Oracle client on UISAP will also be upgraded.

  2. On 8/3, EIS will update the minimum security protocols required to authenticate to the domain, as part of a phased removal of older protocols.

  3. Also on 8/3, Zoom users running outdated clients will start getting prompted to upgrade.

  4. August/September network outages in PH/BH/ET have been delayed until Winter Break at the earliest due to shipping delays.

  5. ATUS continues developing a communication plan for retiring “mail.wwu.edu” that involves an intermediary web page to inform users of the new URL.

  6. ATUS is investigating expiration dates for Sharepoint/OneDrive links shared outside WWU.
