Highlights
On Tuesday evening, 8/1, an update will be made to UISAP to further modernize source code management for Banner.
An updated Employee module in Web4u, including new timesheets, will be available to all employees 8/2.
Rave (Western Alerts email and SMS messaging) will be briefly unavailable due to vendor maintenance the morning of 8/13.
Network upgrades are nearing completion in Fairhaven Complex. Biology Building is next, starting 8/21.
An electrical shutdown is scheduled in Old Main the morning of 8/23. Building network services may take a while to recover afterward.
Downtime for a production upgrade of Banner is scheduled for the weekend of 8/25.
WWU and Whatcom County continue to make progress toward integrating their dispatch phone systems in August.
Software upgrades for several core network devices will occur in the month of September.
The legacy static website service known as Campus Web will be decommissioned on or after 12/31/23. ATUS, WebTech, and distributed IT will work with site owners to migrate any sites on Campus Web that need to stay online.
