Moving a Node-Locked License

Please refer to the Agisoft Documentation to move a node-locked license from one machine to another.

8 of the Node-Locked licenses have been converted to Floating and are currently in use by the Geology department. For questions regarding Geology's usage, contact Allison Pfeiffer at pfeiffa@wwu.edu.

We have decided to remain with the node-locked licenses, as these are getting free updates at no additional cost. There are no plans to convert to floating licenses at this time.


Software Management

This section outlines how MetaShape Pro is installed and patched, including information on deprovisioning and which operating systems are supported. It ensures proper management and technical support for the software.

Installation

Handled by IT administrators within the College of the Environment. Contact Scott Gallagher for installation requests.

Patching

  • Current Version: The latest version supported by Agisoft

  • Supported Operating Systems: Windows, macOS

Patching is done during the summer months.

License Management (Deprovisioning)

The software will need to be deactivated and removed from the system prior to reinstallation or use.
