Highlights
Network upgrades in Performing Arts will happen 8/5-13, with both PA and High St. Hall going offline during the upgrade.
Security controls for 3rd-party Azure-authenticated applications will be implemented 8/6.
Pending CAB approval, the new Teams client will be made available on all WWU computers on 8/6. The legacy Teams client will be removed at a later date.
Network installations for Humanities have been rescheduled for August 12-16 due to a conflict with classroom use.
Sometime during the week of 8/19-24, there will be a one-hour vendor maintenance window on the Campus Press platform, where site owners will be unable to make changes to their site content.
Network upgrades in Biology will occur 8/26-9/4.
There will be brief, rolling outages of wireless across campus between 5am-6am while access points receive a software update and reboot.
An upgrade to Millennium FAST is scheduled for September 25th. This is the first week of Fall Term, but BFS has confirmed the upgrade can still proceed on that date.
The CAB will meet this week to schedule changes to Power Platform and Enterprise Application configurations, to reduce the risk of improper data exfiltration.
