University Police Dispatch phone services have been migrated to the WhatComm dispatcher phone system.
Comm Facility network upgrades are complete. Network upgrades have started in Morse Hall (Chemistry).
MATLAB upgrades roll out to computer labs tomorrow morning.
~225 Windows 11-eligible “shared” computers (e.g. labs, classrooms) will be upgraded to Windows 11 on 9/13.
The WA K20 network will be unavailable overnight 9/14-15. The campus will stay connected via its second internet connection.
Software upgrades for several core network devices will occur in the month of September, including a significant campus-wide network outage the morning of Sunday, September 17th.
The wireless network client certificate will be updated in December. This will move our annual renewal cycle from Summer to Winter, which will reduce the impact on students and faculty who leave in the summer and are forced to update their clients at the start of Fall term.
The legacy static website service known as Campus Web will be decommissioned on or after 12/31/23. ATUS, WebTech, and distributed IT will work with site owners to migrate any sites on Campus Web that need to stay online.
