Highlights
Routine Azure maintenance will result in brief, off-hours loss of connectivity to several campus websites, including the campus map and personal faculty sites, sometime between 4/3 - 4/6.
Several network maintenance tasks have been queued up for early April, including:
Enable firewall Quality-of-Service monitoring and re-enable firewall logging to Splunk on 4/8.
Patch firewalls on 4/9.
Enable dynamic firewall rules for M365 on 4/11.
Test encryption of firewall log traffic on 4/15.
Cut over to new VPN appliances on 4/16.
Due to construction delays, network installation for the Kaiser Bosari building is being rescheduled for the summer. This may result in schedule changes to other buildings, which will be communicated to building occupants in the coming weeks.
ITS is circling July 1 as an implementation date for providing an Outlook Calendar version of the university’s paper calendars.
