New Employee Setup
Use the steps below to prepare for a new Woodring College of Education employee.
Instructions
- Fill out HR forms for each new employee. Once all forms are complete, HR will initiate the creation of a WWU account.
- Fill out appropriate e-sign form(s) to give them access to Banner, BI Query, WWIS, etc. if needed
Notify WCE Tech Services for the Following Items:
- Do they need a new computer (faculty) or are they inheriting a computer (staff)?
- Should they be added to your Faculty/Staff directory on your web site? You or they can send us info and a photo or they can update their own page themselves after they have access.
- Do they need access to your department, program, or office SharePoint site?
- Do they need access to P:\WCE and access to secure department P drive folders?
- Do they need access to department shared mailboxes?
- Do they need access to edit your department, program, or office web site?
- Do they need to be added to appropriate WCE mailing lists?
- Do they need help with computer configuration (they should be able to login with their WWU username and password) and connection to printers? If so, they should schedule time with us to do this.
- Do they need help with BI Query setup?
- Notify WCE Tech Services
