Introduction

The AH016 Lab doubles as a classroom, located in the College of the Environment, is managed by Natalie Furness, Aquila Flowers, and Rebekah Paci-Green. This lab serves students in the Environmental Studies program.

This document provides an overview of the lab's hardware and software requirements to ensure smooth operation of the equipment.


Hardware Overview

Lab Computers

32 Dell Pro Max T2 Workstations and 1 Dell Precision 3680 (Podium): Used for general lab activities.

Designed for high-performance tasks, these systems are dedicated to graduate students for advanced software use.

Printer

The AH016 lab includes a HP LaserJet M601 (CENV-LJ-AH016) printer managed via group policy on StuPrint.


Software Overview

Core Software Installed on Lab Computers:

Uses Lab Software - Software Management - CENV IT - Confluence & the additional software.

  • ArcGIS Pro: Geographic Information Systems tools for spatial analysis and mapping.

  • Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe suite of software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat

  • ENVI: Advanced image processing and remote sensing software.

  • AgiSoft Metashape: Photogrammetry software for 3D modeling and spatial data processing.
