Your account is not registered for password change
Problem
You try to set your password by using the Self Service Password Reset tool, but you see an error saying that you cannot change your password because your account is "not registered for password change."
Solution
Contact the ATUS Help Desk at 360-650-3333 or helpdesk@wwu.edu and provide us with an external (non-@wwu.edu) email address or telephone number to register for Self Service Password Reset. Once we add this alternate contact information to your account, you should be able to set your password.
The external email address for new students and employees is usually added to the account when the account is created. If no external email address is populated in your student or employee record at the time of account creation, we must add one later.
