Request Single Sign-On (SSO) for an Application

Applications provide better security and a better user experience when they support the use of your Western universal username and password. This feature is called Single Sign-On (SSO).

Instructions

To ensure your application will support SSO, please do the following:

  1. Request the vendor’s SSO documentation, or obtain a technical contact for your application.

  2. Submit a Help Desk ticket or submit the Request SSO form, and include either the vendor’s SSO documentation or the technical contact in your request.

  3. IT Services supports the following SSO implementations:

    1. Azure Active Directory (SAML 2.0 or SCIM 2.0).

    2. Apereo CAS.

    3. Active Directory/LDAP (on-premise applications only).

 

Azure Active Directory is our preferred Identity Provider for SSO.
